These advocates bring their knowledge, passion, and energy to build community and support the growth of Philly businesses as a force for good.

President
Michael Schweisheimer
Is the founder and Executive Producer of PWPvideo. Michael founded PWPvideo in 2000, with the idea of creating the kind of company at which he would want to work. He is an award-winning filmmaker with over 30 years of experience behind the camera. He began PWPvideo with an emphasis on nonprofit organizations, helping them to convey their missions through video communication, and it has grown into the proud Certified B Corp it is today.
He enjoys consulting, speaking, and teaching about the intersection between nonprofits, education, and sustainable organizations with video production. He holds a degree in Film and Media Arts from Temple University. Michael also co-founded the MISSION Story Slam in 2018.

Treasurer
Joanna Bowen
Is the Community Impact Lead at Seer Interactive. She manages all aspects of Seer's Community Impact program, including team volunteering, philanthropic giving, and their B Corp Certification.
Before Seer, she spent 15 years in the nonprofit sector, providing volunteer opportunities for high school students, college students, and young adults. Joanna is passionate about inspiring others to make an impact in their communities.

Diana Gonzalez
Is the Racial Equity & Equitable Engagement Lead at Founding B Corp Strategy Arts.
Philly native, born and raised, Diana's favorite thing to do is be out and nature and nerding out on beautiful Art, you can almost always find her hanging out at the Barnes Foundation when she's not hosting a BLocal Philly event.

Carrie Gonzales
With over 25 years of administrative management experience across corporate and family-run settings, she brings a strong foundation in operations, organization, and team coordination to her role as Administrative Manager at a B Corp-certified video production company.
A recent transplant from California to Elkins Park, she enjoys time with her husband, three children, and pets, and loves the welcoming community they now call home.

B Academics Chair
Todd Schifeling
Associate Professor at Temple University's Fox School of Business, where he launched Temple's first B Impact Team to help Philly businesses navigate the B Impact Assessment and certification. He researches and teaches corporate sustainability and social entrepreneurship with a focus on the B Corp movement. This work has led to publications and awards, including multiple HBR articles.
In his free time, he wrangles three kids and an ever-expanding berry patch in the Mount Airy neighborhood.

Engagement Chair
Elizabeth Guman
Elizabeth leads Strategy Arts’ cross-sector collaboration practice, supporting organizations through strategic planning, leadership development, and nonprofit consulting, including board development, partnerships, and mergers. Elizabeth also supports clients and peers in unlearning white fragility and practicing anti-oppressive strategies and allyship with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
Prior to joining Strategy Arts, Elizabeth spent 20 years running her own consulting practice, working with nonprofits, small businesses, governments, and corporations on organizational development and instructional design. She has taught in the Wharton MBA and Executive MBA programs at the University of Pennsylvania and has served as graduate faculty at Penn State Great Valley and West Chester University.

Communications Chair
Max Hayes
Is a Community Growth Manager at B Lab U.S. & Canada, dedicated to helping companies join the B Corp community. He is a sustainability advocate seeking to build an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet.
He moved to Philadelphia in the summer of 2021, and in his free time, he enjoys volunteering, exploring the city on his bike, and playing pickleball.
